I am interested in stay at home jobs. I would like to become a medical transcriptionist because I enjoy typing and working on the computer. I have always supported and sacrificed so that my significant other could have his dreams. Now that we have gone our separated ways I am looking to focus on myself and complete my goals. I worked as a secretary for a Social Security firm and often completed transcription that involved medical terms. I always became interested in these reports. I am able to type 81+ words per minute with high accuracy so I believe I can excel in a MT position. I have taken a test and have a certificate stating my words per minute.
One of the main advantages of becoming a medical transcriptionist is the medical transcription salary. The flexibility would allow me to spend more time with my family and my two pugs. It would also allow me to work on my other schooling of becoming a teacher. Another advantage is the opportunity to work at home. This would save money on gas and other vehicle expenses. The employment help is great and I am looking forward to learning more about the program and what Future MT can do for me. I just began school to become a teacher. Although I would like to be a teacher I would also like to work at a MT. My plan for the next couple of years is to become a certified MT and a certified substitute teacher. This way I can enjoy both careers. I will be able to teach children and still be able to work from home and type. I have great typing skills and have done transcription in many of my jobs and on my own time. I do not want to give up doing transcription because I enjoy it so much. The full scholarship would help me complete my goals. I recently separated from my significant other of six years so I am starting a new fresh life for myself. It is time for me to work on myself and set goals and complete them. I am willing to work hard and do the best I can to complete the program and be at the top! I believe in myself and know I can do the program.
