Internet Explorer 9: More Beautiful Web
Today Microsoft launched a beta version of Internet Explorer 9
, the latest version of its venerable browser. Over the years, IE has fallen behind its competitors in terms of speed and strict compliance with standards. So has the new version to do anything to get that backlog? I ran it for several benchmarking tools to learn.

As you can see, while the beta IE9 is not as good as its main competitors in the field of standards compliance, the result of 95 is far ahead of the old IE8, which only scored lowly 20th
To test the speed of browsers used Kraken , the new Mozilla JavaScript benchmarking tool , which seeks to test JavaScript performance by a series of tests that realistic attempt to repeat the task . During the benchmark test results should be taken with a grain of salt, because you can never exactly match the actual conditions, they do at least, the performance index browser. The result returned by the Kraken is the time it takes the browser to complete the tests, the lower is better.
As you can see, IE9 still lags slightly behind its competitors. However, it is a vast improvement on the previous version. I managed to run it on older people through a computer with Windows XP, and scored extremely Slowly 348,056 ms. Though the machine is slower than XP in my test computer, the order of magnitude worse than the version, and shows how much better it is to serve IE9 complex JavaScript.

Microsoft has obviously invested a lot of effort into getting IE to zero, and assuming can get the right proportion of users of older versions of the browser to update IE9 should greatly accelerate the development of more advanced, feature-Packed Web applications. Thats because developers will be more likely to develop areas that rely on complex JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS3, if they are aware of these features are broadly supported in the browser market. I would hope that Microsoft will consider an exemption IE9 for older versions of Windows, as that will help to ensure that a greater proportion of users upgrade.
