Distributors in MLM mostly simple people (I don't mean to be rude here I just mean that they don't have a typical business mindset). Let's think this over a little more..

These are the same people you tried to approach offering your business opportunity. If you aren't a business minded individual then I bet you have friends with similar attitude which means there were no one else to approach but them. According to the truth that they are not business minded, they don't even get it why it would be pleasant to own a business - or building their own MLM business - so no matter how powerfully you try they still won't care. The commonly heard rejections happen because of this. It's the cause of most failures.

Let me explain this a little bit more. In fact most Network Marketing prpositions are rejected by these average people, but most successful cases the same individuals sign up easily. Then the average person might recruit his friend - another not business minded person came to the picture - who doesn't know how to do this business properly (and more importantly most of the not business oriented people are not even willing to learn how to do it), and his sponsor doesn't know how to lead the team so they fail. Without the aspiration to achieve something, the will to learn and without wanting it so bad there isn't another way but to fail. The reason behind this observable fact is that they pursue people they presently know. That's the reason why it matters who your acquaintances are when it comes to build a MLM business successfully, especially when you use the old-school techniques (by traditional way I the lack of an effective Internet MLM system).

So just to sum all the thoughts above: most Networkers in the Home based business indusry are not entrepreneurs and they don't have the needed mindset either. They regularly know similar characters to recruit and because of the lack of expertise they advertise their opportunity or product. Nobody cares about the quality of the product or the importance of the business and not even the compensation plan (but these are very weighty factors of Network Marketing sensation). A single individual gets a lot of impulse every day. That's why this not the way you should be recruiting. This is not the way you market.

How to market the right way?

Brainstorm about the next statement! The customer who actually purchased a drill, did not relly want a drill; he needed a hole in the wall. As a result you should be marketing valuable information about being successful in Network Marketing to recruit more people.
