When you are marketing on the internet, you need to have a marketing strategy if you want to succeed

. One of the biggest reasons people do not prosper when the market online is because they do not go into it with a plan or strategy. Having a plan assures that If and when something goes wrong, you won't be caught off guard and will be able to right the ship so to speak.

Put it this way, if you don't develop some sort of strategy, your giving your competition the upper hand already. Because trust me, they DO have a system to follow. Just remember no plan will lead to disaster and the closing of your business. The online world as with any business is unforgiving when you make blind decisions based on fear because you don't have a system to follow... well, re-read the last sentence. Ok, so now you know you need a strategy for your marketing online. This plan should be flexible and change with your changing goals. First, you need your site up and running. With proper working links ect. Then you move on to the marketing aspect to have your product be seen by the masses. Business changes constantly, so should you and your plans! There are three main goals when setting up a marketing plan: a marketing strategy, a marketing tactic, and an objective. Your marketing strategy is the actual step you are going to take to fix the problems and then create more successful new ads and copy. This involves the actual writing of ads/placement ect.

Your marketing tactic is the implementation of these steps. Following the system you set up before any problems arise. Your objective should be to advertise successfully and ethically, and be able to handle any foreseen and unforeseen problems. Write them out, think about how you would solve them. There will be problems and you need to handle them. If you create a strategy to put in place for your business, you make life a whole lot easier on yourself.
