Every internet marketer knows that leads are the life giving blood to any business

. But the process for obtaining internet marketing leads can be a little challenging for a lot of people especially those that are just starting out.

Many internet marketers fall victims to lead generating companies that offer quality leads for a certain price. There are many companies who make a great living selling leads, however the quality of these leads are very questionable and any experienced marketer will agree with me on this.

The best way to obtain internet marketing leads is to create them. The way to do this is by creating a system. The system must consist of several variables which include; an offer, a landing/capture/squeeze page, an autoresponder, and an email marketing campaign.

The offer can consist of anything you feel will add real value to the person who is going to give you their email address. This can come in the form of a report, an ebook, a video series etc.

The landing/capture/squeeze page is where people will make the decision to opt in to receive your offer and will exchange it for their email. So the capture page should be clean, to the point, attractive, and simple.

The email marketing campaign is where you will be able to monetize on the leads youve created and generated. The reason why creating leads is more powerful over buying them is because these people are actually interested in receiving the information you have to offer. Leads you buy are more or less curious about your market in general but whether or not theyre interested in your offer is questionable.

Remember to always provide value to people on your list. They gave you their email address to receive information and not sales letters. Keep in mind that they probably receive information from other people in the same market as yours, so you have to stand out by providing value and let the other amateurs crumble while you set yourself up as the leader they can trust.

The process of creating your own internet marketing leads might take a little longer, but the quality of those leads will be a hundred fold of those you can buy. Yes you can go out and buy a batch of 10,000 leads for about $100 but you will disappointed with the non responsiveness of those leads. Or you can spend those $100 on marketing to generate your own and create only 50 leads. But those leads will make you more money in the long run than 10,000. Thats a promise!
