Internet Marketing Mentoring Strategies - The Power Of The 3ps

Im going to share with you the my Internet Marketing Mentoring strategies of the

3Ps that have served me very well in my years of running a home based business. Now you may or may not be familiar with them but Im going to share them anyways. These should be in the back of your head when you do any kind of online marketing

The first P is ironically one that is in short supply now-a-days. And it may account for the #1 reason of failing online, therefore its on the top of the list: Patience.

I dealt with customers time and time again, who come back at me with some remark like I did what you said to do and it didnt work, I reply with Well how long did you try this?, and they response, I tried it yesterday, and I never made a sale.. This is the type of microwave society that we live in today, people want immediate results yesterday. Well thats not how it works in the real world. Rome was not built in one day. You must be patient in your marketing efforts and just be consistent.

It boggles my mind, people want results in hours, while most traditional business dont show a profit for years. And believe it or not, I get and read (on forums) comments like these all the time. Are you kidding me, even God took 6 days to create Earth and you want to make money in a daybe realistic. Bringing it backwhenever you start any marketing campaign, you must be patient.

On to P #2, Perseverance. I dont mean keep doing the same thing and expecting different results. What Im getting at is this: If you want to succeed at anything at all in life, you must continuously work on it, home business included. Its too easy to give up (even before you begin) and that s what most people do unfortunately. Most people who start a home based business throw in the towel before the starting gate even opens. Its tough to keep at it, especially when youre doing it on your own. It takes discipline, but its worth it in the end. I love waking up and having no-one to answer to (except my girlfriend), every day of my life.

The only time your will fail in your business is when you give up and QUIT. If you never quit and you persevere, than you will succeed. Whether it takes you 6 weeks or 6 years, you will succeed.

The last, and maybe the most important of all, is Planning. Ive seen this one so many times. Someone goes into business for themselves and have some half ass marketing plan in place, or dont even have a plan and just wing it. Throwing $%& on the wall again, huh? I just dont get it. This is a disaster waiting to happen. Does a multinational billion dollar company just wing it. Hell no, they have a detailed plan of action, and if you are even half serious about your home business, you need a plan of action as well. If youre using Pay-Per-Click advertising, what are the keywords your aiming for? Which ones will give you the lowest Cost-Per-Click and provide you the best ROI? How many ads are you split testing to get the best results? Whos your target market? Only English speaking? Spanish? Worldwide? What type of marketing budget are you working with? The list goes on and on. Point is, if you fail to plan, you plan to fail. Without planning you are youre minimizing your chances of success.
