To illustrate the point, how many marketers lists are you already on? Chances are you're subscribed to quite a few lists already. Now I don't know how many emails you get a day but I bet it's quite a lot. How many of those emails do you actually read? If you're anything like me you can rattle through 50 emails in less than a minute and delete those that don't interest you almost instinctively. Sometimes that will be because you aren't interested in reading an email off that person and other times it will be because the subject line doesn't sound like something of interest to you right at that moment in time.

So what about the emails that you do read? I read the emails off people that I trust and those that have shown to me that they are worth listening to. More often than not, those people are experts in their chosen field and they deliver value to their subscribers in the form of valuable content or information that adds value to what you are trying to achieve online. Of course, the other emails I read are off close personal friends, which is down to the relationship I have developed with those people over time. Relationships are an important thing online and you need to build them with your audience if you want them to trust you and learn from you.

Now be honest with yourself, do you really want to succeed online? Are you willing to do whatever it takes? If you are, then from this day forward you need to take action and become an expert in your niche. You need to become a sponge for information and learn as much as you can so you can share it with others. It will soon become obvious that you know what you are talking about and people will see you as the 'go to' person when they need solutions to problems they are facing in the niche you are an expert in. Those people will go out of their way to learn more from you which means they will ask you questions, buy products and even want to work with you personally if you offer coaching services.

So how do you become a real expert? You need to learn from the best. That means you need to buy books by top authors in your field and seek out the highest quality information available. Purchase products that will help you gain knowledge and real-world application of the skills required in your marketplace. After a while, you will begin to think like an expert and you will become the very thing you aspire to being. You will also become successful as you help other people achieve what they want to in the market you are an authority.
