DON'T do business with a PPC provider until you understand exactly what you are getting. Be wary of providers who syndicate their ads to affiliate advertisers who then drive heavy and irrelevant traffic to your ad with no hope of conversions.

DON'T do business on a pay-for-inclusion basis until you understand exactly what the portal or club you are paying for provides and how inclusion will benefit your business.

DON'T be a victim of perfection paralysis. It doesn't have to be perfect- only good enough to get started and you'll perfect it as you go. Be cautious, smart and as careful as you can. But you have to shove off at some point and get started.

DON'T give up. Keep learning. Keep improving. Stay focused on ways to make your business better.
