I am amazed to see the new things coming out and new techniques hitting the market. One of these changes is how the internet and network marketing can blend in together. First off, let me confess that I was never taught this when I joined the industry.

I was taught to do things the old way. Usually that means to cold call, buy leads, and attend hotel meetings. Can you relate? Did it work for you? Most likely statistics say that it didn't. Over 97% of people fail in this industry and it is not the companies fault, it is the ideas the distributors were taught that flat out didn't work. Here is what I have learned in a nutshell.

If you go around chasing the wrong people, you will continue to stay broke. It's funny because the original things I was taught was like trying to sell meat to a vegetarian.

They had no want or need for what I was offering. I was literally trying to jam it down their mouths.

Here is how everything changed. I figured out how I could get people to find me. Once you make this change in your philosophy, your business will transform. Why?

You are immediately filtering out the people who have no interest in what you are offering. This in turn means the people who contact you actually want to do business and want to sincerely learn from you.

If I would have known this 4 years ago I would have never bought leads or have done the embarrassing cold calling. The internet combined with network marketing has made this all possible.
