Internet marketing tips from the top internet marketers

As you are all aware I was at the World Internet Summit at Heathrow on the weekend. It was an opportunity to meet and discuss ideas with some of the best internet marketers in the world. Whilst I was there I asked them all for their Top Tips and advice for new internet marketers. Here is what they said:

Sean Roach - Author of 'Get off your duff and make your own cheese' - "Focus" - Take a look at the notes or system you have and place everything you have into it. Most of all stay focused on what you are doing.

Steve Essa - Webinar Expert - "LEAD People" - Create your own tribe and lead it. Make sure that you are the captain of your ship. Ensure that you are in continual communication with your tribe and that they know who you are...Always!!

Joey Smith - Social Media Expert - "Mindset." Ensure that you have a positive mindset throughout whatever you are doing. Positive thoughts create positive actions. Then, do whatever it takes to reach your goals.

Matt Clarkson - King of eBay - "Let yourself be successful." Make sure that you give yourself the opportunity to be successful. Don't hold yourself back by being afraid. Give it all you've got to achieve.

Amanda Clarkson - Queen of eBay - "Beware of Dream stealers". Don't get drawn down by people who are jealous of you. They may mock and criticise but don't listen to them. Only share your dreams with people who will share them with you. Finally, get yourself a Mentor to help you grow faster.

Brian Koz - The Unconventional Lead Expert - "Find a market with lots of hungry buyers in it and then, give them EXACTLY what they want." Research is the key to success.

Dr Mike - The Marketing M.D - "Build your list". Make sure that you are doing everything to build your marketing list. It is key to building your business.

Mark Vurnum - Lead Generation Expert - "Have Fun". If you make what you are doing fun then you will be more inclined to work hard and create success.

Mark Anastasi - Facebook Master - "Write down 100 reasons why you should do this (internet marketing). 50 of these reasons will be reasons to avoid the pain it will cause. The other 50 will be the joy you will get from it. Throw the negative ones away and focus on the joy you will get. Positive associations with money and success will drive you there." Finally, TAKE ACTION.

Roy Carter - Easy Cash systems - "Find a Mentor" and "Work out what your next logical step is". When you are doing something make sure that you are thinking about the next logical thing to do. Work one step at a time and you will be successful. Do not try to do too much at once.

Tom Hua - The Viral Marketer - "Stay Focused". Make sure that you are 100% focused on your goals and what you want to achieve. Don't let anything distract you.

Brett McFall - The Simplifier - "Perfect as you go". The internet is the cheapest place to fail. Do not be afraid to just get something up and running and then perfect it a little later. Don't be a perfectionist. It will only waste time.

There you go. Some simple but really important tips from some of the best internet marketers on the planet. Take these little nuggets of advice and put them into practice. I certainly will be. Be sure to let me know how you get on too.
