. Before you do there is something you need to know: Most satellite services are created equal, but keep in mind that some are not. In fact, most television for PC services are awful. Nothing short of terrible. With poor picture quality, prehistoric software, unprofessional customer service, and limited access to the channels you really want to see, many satellite for PC providers just aren't worth making the switch. Until recently.

I recently discovered this company by the name of Satellite Direct. They are a company that provides over 3500 channels to any PC. They can set you up with exactly you need to get started. And you can be set and watching television in minutes. When I first heard about the amount of channels, I was skeptical. After doing some further investigating, I never realized actually how many channels there really are, especially international channels. And there are many different genre's of channels as well.

Although cable TV brings you hundreds of channels, you unfortunately have high monthly fees for those channels. Not to mention special channels and pay per view events, which come at a premium on top of your monthly fees.

Standard satellite dishes have problems of their own. First of all, forget about getting any clear channels during any kind of precipitation. Rain and lightning are a satellite dishes worst enemy, and wind is not much better. You could spend up to an hour a day aiming a satellite dish only to find a branch fell overnight and out in the snow you go, and most times its on the roof.

So not to mention the hazards of owning a satellite dish, you have the cost involved of ownership. So if it breaks, you have buy another one. Yee haa! Nothing like dumping more money into old technology, which is problematic to begin with.

The good thing I found about Satellite Direct, is that you never have to worry about bandwidth signals or poor picture or sound quality. It's like having the best of cable or satellite television without ever having to pay the outrageous monthly bills again! And no fancy equipment, like satellite dishes are necessary to make it work. If you have an internet connection, you have TV. And it's as reliable as your internet connection.
