In order to succeed in your interview, you must dress appropriately for your line of work. These are the top 5 things you must know about dressing for an interview.

Minimize your anxiety. Or, at least, any trace of worry off your face. At first glance, you should appear confident and ready to take on the world.

You must wear formal clothes to an interview. The importance of this cannot be over-emphasized. Even if the work environment is casual, it does not mean you can show up for the interview in denim or slacks. Formal wear convey the impression that you are serious about the job. Dressing appropriately makes you appear smart and confident.

Crumpled clothes are a strict no-no. Whatever the excuse, you simply must not show up in crumpled clothes. Wash them beforehand and iron them neatly a day before the interview.
