Intriguing Cookie Creations

Tired of churning our batches of the same cookies time and time again

? Give yourself and your family a break from the usual and get creative with your cookies! As chocolate chip have always been my favorite they'll always have a place in my cookie jar.

I am however, open to all suggestions and am willing to experiment with different flavors. If you don't try you never know, that's my motto in the kitchen.

There are a few new cookie recipes that I gave a chance recently, and they were really tasty. Here are some of them for you to try; you may find a new favorite for yourself or your family.

Why not use cake mixture for your cookies? There are so many delicious flavors to try and these cookies look as good as they taste, thanks to the fact that they crack when you flatten them.

Peanut butter dough makes delicious cookies, and to get extra flavor there's a little trick I used right at the end. Once the cookies are ready, carefully create a hole inside each cookie. Into this hole pop a peanut buttercup, delicious!

If you prefer your chocolate to be white rather than brown, then a great combination for cookies is white chocolate with cranberry. The two flavors blend together within the cookie to create a taste sensation. These have proved to be very popular and I'm being asked now to make them for people.

My last suggestion for today is to get your cookie dough and throw in some butter toffee, chocolate chips and cherry. Very sweet and delicious, these will soon become a firm favorite in your household.

I hope my ideas have inspired you to try some of your own, or even take my suggestions and add your own twist to them. Making cookies is a lot of fun, and inventing new ones that turn out to be winners is very satisfying.
