with PRE PRODUCTION which includes generating the ideas, developing the story, concept drawing & character design, writing the script, storyboarding and animatics.

To meet the pre-production requirements students need to attend creative foundation classes where they practice and understand the importance and relevance of art in 3d animation, visual effects, game art or live action film. Overseas and Indian production studios are looking for those students who have creative art education along with digital skill set.

The question can be raised that why one should go through drawing, painting, figure drawing etc whereas finally one has to work on computer. Understanding of visual elements of composition like shape, unity, harmony, dominance, color schemes etc helps in creating a scene or shot of 3d animation movie, vfx shot, game art etc aesthetically correct.

During anatomy and life study classes they came to know about story telling poses for 3d animation, human Skelton articulation and skin deformation for Rigging and color study for over all color composition and mood creation.
