? You will have to get a new one, a dead battery means you require an iPhone replacement battery. If you plan on going through the procedure of finding an iPhone replacement battery and changing the old battery you should keep a few guidelines in mind.
Here are some guidelines on the procedure of iPhone replacement battery:
* Take out the tray that contains your sim. Remove two screws located near the dock using a screwdriver.
* Place a spudger between the display and chrome ring. The display has to be separated from the panel at the back.
* Separate the paned and the dock carefully so as to prevent the ribbons from breaking. Disconnect the first black ribbon.
* The assembly for display has to be rotated so that the other ribbons can be easily accessed. The second black ribbon should be disconnected using the spudger.
*In order to release the final ribbon cable, use your spudger and flip the plastic tab that is white in color to an angle measuring around 90 degrees.
* The display has to be removed and the ribbon (black) should be taken out from the connector.
* The five screws that have been used to secure the back and panel and logic board should be removed. Also remove the two full screws have been used to secure the camera and logic board. A screw will also be found under a sticker. ( total of 8 screws)
* The fourth ribbon has to be unplugged. Next, the motherboard has to be removed. Be careful and ensure that no ribbon is broken. Unplug the ribbon that connects the camera and the board.
* Next, the camera has to be pried out gently.
* Remove the logic board and pull the tab attached to your battery. Remove the old battery. Fix the new iPhone battery in and put everything else back in place.
