Is Aerobic Training The Most Effective Way For Gaining Weight And Building Muscle?
Its such a false notion that doing aerobics is required in order to gain weight and build muscle
, like jogging, walking etc. Aerobic exercise does not prove to be quite satisfactory by itself. Its true that you burn off calories when performing an aerobic exercise, but do not expect to burn off calories as many as you desire or build some proportion of muscle mass.
On an average, around 300 calories can be burned off while jogging for about 30 minutes. It depends upon your age and how much you weigh. Burning down the caloric intake from two bananas is achievable by this mean. However, dont expect it to burn out the calories from a cheese burger, around 600 calorie. It is evident that aerobics do not play a vital role in burning off significant calories, or to gain weight and
build muscle fast.
They sure play an important role in the prevention of cardiovascular diseases, diabetes and some cancers. Aerobic training, as shown by experience, is not the most desirable way to burn off extra calories and body fat or to gain weight and build muscle. Why is this, the case?
The total effort required to trim the body fat using aerobics makes it an ineffective fat-burning workout, but it can cause a loss in muscle mass as a side effect. Burning off muscle is aided by performing heavy aerobic exercise coupled with lower calorie diet, not serving in your challenge to
gain weight and build muscle fast.
The proportion of both fats and carbohydrates is cut down by intense aerobic training. This process, called catabolism, is behind the loss of muscle mass.
Although the lower numbers on your bathroom scale will satisfy you, by following any weight loss regimen, but it wont be helpful for your bodys overall health. If your intention is to achieve a lower scale weight only, limb amputation would be the most effective way. When you lose some muscle mass, the ability to perform well at a training session also reduces.
If you cannot adequately burn off calories, due to a loss of muscle mass; you will become more inclined to regaining body fat. Any associate decrease in calorie intake will damage the situation more. Eating extra protein in your diet wont help because the body will use it up for energy production to meet up the needs. There is an efficient way to cut off the extra fat safely by using weight training, strength training or resistance training.
It is not that difficult to push men to use weights to lose weight and build muscle. Women usually resist such type of workouts, as they are fearful about the gain of too much muscle giving them a masculine look. This fear cannot be supported because of the fact that weight training reduces body fat before helping it to gain muscle mass. You want to be like that male body builder on the cover of a magazine with such huge body? What you need is years of heavy training, steroids and prohormones. Men are also granted with larger amounts of testosterone than women.
Females can loose body fat& build toning muscle mass by weight bearing workouts while not taking steroids or testosterone supplements.. It will give you a new, more enhanced figure without reducing even a bit of your feminism.
