This can be done when the customer is placing their order or can be done another time down the road. If they do offer this, you want to make sure as an affiliate you will get paid for these sales as well so do check your affiliate terms and agreement to see if you receive profits for these too. In most cases you do but it's always a good idea to check. Again, this is another advantage of affiliate marketing as you can possibly make recurring sales from someone if they go back and buy from the product owner that you are an affiliate for.
