One of the things that really interested me about doing article marketing is the fact that I heard that it was free. But over the years I've realized that nothing is really free, so is article marketing really free? This may seem like a trick question but the truth is, anything that you have to put time and effort into doing really isn't free.
One of the most important things that you should do if you decide that you want to market this way is put a value on your time. If you feel that your time is worth $15 an hour, the next step is to figure out how many articles you can actually write every hour. Using myself as an example, I can write 5 to 6 articles every hour if I didn't take many breaks. So what this means is that I should pay anyone to write articles for me for more than $3-$4 per article. The reason for this is the fact that there are so many people out there that know how to write that it's easy to find someone to write articles for you if you train them properly.
Now that you know writing articles really isn't free, you'll be able to spend more time making sure that your articles are of good quality or it will be easier for you to actually just pay someone to write articles for you. One of the biggest issues I had when I first started is the fact that I was trying to be cheap and not pay anyone else to write articles for me. But once I realized that it was actually costing me money to write articles myself I took the initiative and actually found someone that knew how to write quality articles at a very reasonable price.
Article writing isn't free so if you start treating it like another form of paid advertising you will actually be able to get more out of It, get more leads for your business, and increase your profits because of it.
