Finding true wholesalers is a challenge difficult to overcome with all of the middlemen screaming for your money.

The purpose of this article is to bring up the point that there are wholesalers who sell the product at wholesale prices and there are companies that take those products and mark them up slightly and call them wholesale prices.

Wholesalers are hard to find. If you have the time to sift through and find individual wholesalers then there are many good options at your disposal. If you don't want to spend the time finding the right wholesale companies and making sure their fees and prices are low, then consider this alternative.

Find a company that has a well established network of wholesalers that it connects you with. Many people have written about how poor of an idea this is to get involved with a "middle man." They claim you won't get the best prices etc... But I beg to differ. These networks are not middleman networks in that they take a piece of the pie for each product sold. Most don't mark up their products. Some even offer a lowest drop ship price guarantee.

The way they make money is granting you access to their networks at a minimal fee. This is not a middleman because you are getting the wholesale price and not the middleman price. Essentially, the price you get is actually lower because these networks have volume which gives them access to lower priced products in the end. Don't be afraid of so called "middlemen" that give you access to their networks for a small fee. They potentially offer lower prices and save you the time you would spend finding individual suppliers at a very small fee.

For example, say the fee for access to their network is $80 per month. Is it worth $80 per month to have access to over 1.5 million products? How much is your time worth? $20 per hour? If you were to spend 4 hours per month on finding your own suppliers and wholesalers how much would you have to show for it? 1.5 million products at your disposal? Access to over 1 million products?
