Fat Loss 4 Idiots is an online dieting program that makes a pretty big promise

. Their slogan, seen all over the internet is "Lose 9 lbs in 11 Days". That is a pretty big claim. Is there anything behind it or is it scam?

THE BASIC IDEA

The basic idea behind the Fat Loss 4 Idiots diet program is a concept referred to as "Calorie Shifting". Calorie shifting means that you continue to eat a normal healthy amount calories each and every day but become more mindful of how you distribute those calories over the day. In simple terms, it means eating smaller meals but eating more of them. The calorie shifting approach is different than the low fat approach (greatly reduce your fat intake), the low carb approach (greatly reduce your carb intake), and the low calorie approach (greatly reduce your overall calorie intake). "Calorie Shifting" diets are not based on severe restrictions of calories, fats, or carbohydrates.

The idea there is that you still get a healthy amount of calories and all other nutrients into your system but you never overload your body at any one sitting. If you don't overload your body, it doesn't get any excess food at each sitting to go and store as fat.


In addition to storing less fat, calorie shifting is supposed to trigger the release of fat burning hormones which burn up the fat you currently have.

IS IT A SCAM?

It is certainly not a scam engineered just to cheat you out of your hard-earned money. There is a fair amount of science behind the calorie shifting idea and there are certainly many positive testimonials to be found all over the internet from people who have used the diet successfully. However, this does NOT mean that it that it is a good fit for everyone's dieting needs, or that everyone using the diet is going to "Lose 9 lbs in 11 Days.

There are many differences from one person to the next and therefore no single diet can be the correct way to go for every dieter.

IS IT A GOOD FIT FOR YOU?

If you are looking into this program or any other, ensure that you read up on it so that you are clear about how is works and what diet changes you will be expected to make. If you are clear about the expectations and the mechanism before you begin and also if you can commit to taking action as described, you are much more likely to get to your dieting goal.
