Adam: Hi, my name is Adam. Im here today with Steve Soreno, the author of the Global Warming Survival Bible, Surviving and Prospering with Climate Change. How are you today?

Steve: Im excellent, thanks.

Adam: Is global warming real? How real?

Steve: Global warming is a threat. It has the power to not only change our entire future, but to destroy our civilization as we know it.

If the 20th century was the century of nuclear obliteration, then the 21st century is the century of global warming. All the mistakes made in the 20th century with the environment are now compounding themselves in this century. Over the next 90 years, the entire shape of the world and our civilization will change.

With nuclear bombs, someone has to push the button. If no one pushes the button, the bombs do not fly. Well, the global warming button has been pushed every single day, over and over, for more than 100 years.

Global warming is happening. It has been quantifiably measured by scientists. It has been confirmed by thousands of the worlds leading climatologists, and it is changing the world as we speak.

According to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, seven of the eight warmest years on record have occurred since 2001. And the 10 warmest years on record have all occurred since 1995 and that is solid proof that global warming is real.

Adam: And if you can please give us your view on why is global warming bad?

Steve: Well, there is a truth to global warming that people dont think about.

Scientists have shown that the Earth has survived asteroid impact events, methane explosions, solar flares and countless disasters. The species on the Earth have not. Roughly 99 percent of all the species that have ever lived are now extinct. Humans may be added to that list if we dont take drastic, individual measures to protect what we have and to survive. The good news is that many people will survive and will thrive in the future. And its important to us that as many people as possible prepare for the future, probable troubles and instead of pain they have a happy successful life
