Is Islam Ideology The Only Remedy A Comprehensive Debate

Today's world is in haywire. In spite of all the technological advancement and modern economic policies by adroit European and American experts; major part of human portion is suffering from poverty, hunger and lack of education facilities. Western world and their scholars have claimed to find the remedy of every problem this world is facing now and likely to face in the future. They do not hesitate to iterate that solution of every problem this world is facing lies in their policies.

It has been more than half of a century that west is ruling the world through their policies on every important aspect of this world. For economy, they came up with the concept of capitalism- which has been and in recent past has also been back lashed. To cope up with political mayhem, they discovered the ideology of democracy; power of people by the people and for the people.

Whatsoever, contrary to their claim, all their ideologies and doctrines have merely been protecting the interest of a miniscule portion off world. Now, the fact is quite palpable that this world is in dire need of some different and novel ideas to combat the multiple crises it is facing. One notion is that reverting back to core Islamic ideologies is the only solution left to promote religious and cultural harmony and extricate the big part of people suffering from the policies based on benefiting a particular chunk of people.

How to combat economic issues?

The corner stone of Islamic economic policies is the equal distribution of wealth. It emphasize on not overlooking those who are struggling financially. Prosperous people have been told to look after the needy people. Idea of making "Islamic charitable trusts" is the off spring of this notion.

These trusts are formed by the assets donated by the rich donor. These rich people form a body called "trustees" to administer all the financial and other matters related to the trust. The logic behind such trusts is based on the very essence of Islam's financial guidance. Islam condemns the selfishness and promotes the brotherhood. The same notion of brotherhood and social responsibility was demonstrated by people of Medina who hosted the people migrated in their town from Makah. In this era of disparity and despair; this very notion needs to be demonstrated.

Other concept Islam presses upon is hard work. It strongly condemns the income earned by speculative means. The reason behind this recent economic meltdown has been revealed as lots of speculation involve in capital market business. This speculation led the many rich people to bankruptcy.

There is a strong realization even in west is that their policies have backfired and they need to think out-of-the-box. Even many western economic experts are convinced that adopting Islamic ways is the best way forward. This is the reason many Islamic schools are being open in various western countries.

Even, there is a strong need among Muslim world to, that has veered from the basic Islamic ideologies, revert back to Islamic ways.
