Is It Practical To Upgrade To The Blackberry Torch 9810?

Despite BlackBerry's popularity, RIM has started to receive bad press lately because it had been struggling to catch up with Android and iOS handsets

BlackBerry Torch 9810 also comes with a very responsive touch screen because it comes with a new 1.2 GHz processor and it supports the advanced Liquid Graphic technology. If you try navigating the phone and launching pre-loaded applications, you will not experience any lag and you will enjoy scrolling down or up because its controls feel more fluid than before. In terms of navigation, its speed is certainly up to par with other Android handsets with dual-core processors. It also comes with the same proximity sensor and pinch-to-zoom options that BlackBerry 9800 had.

If you want to type text quickly, you also have the option to use its onscreen or physical keyboard. The onscreen keyboard works both in landscape and portrait mode. It is also surprisingly spacious because its keys are large and there is sufficient room between each key. If you still insist on using a physical keyboard, you will also love how Torch 9810 smoothly slides open to reveal the signature BlackBerry QWERTY keyboard. Even though its keys are small, the keyboard still seems quite roomy for a portrait slider.

Software and user interface

The best feature of BlackBerry Torch 9810 is that the powerful OS 7 lies under its hood. While the user interface of OS 7 and OS 6 are similar, the former works together with the new Liquid Graphics technology for displaying richer graphics. It also comes with improved features such as voice functions for universal search, a revamped web browser, and support for augmented-reality applications. Its amazing features and solid performance confirms the speculation that upgrading to BlackBerry Torch 9810 does not seem like a bad idea after all.
