I recently received an email from a couple who had heard that if you conceive up to seven days before ovulation occurs, you will have a girl baby. They wanted to know if this was accurate and if they should try it. I will weigh in on this subject in the following article.

Timing Can Influence Baby Gender, But It Isn't The Only Thing That Does: It is absolutely true that when you conceive in relation to when you ovulate can influence whether you have a boy or a girl. But, this alone can not guarantee that you will absolutely get a girl or will absolutely get a boy. There are many variables that go into this but it really comes down to whether an X sperm chromosome fertilizes the egg or if it is a Ychromosome that does that.An X doing this will results in a girl and a Y doing this will result in a boy.

However, you don't want to trend closer to day 2 or day 1 before theegg being readybecause this might allow some more of the Y's to remain on the quest for the egg.

Hopefully, you can now see that the timing is meant more to eliminate the Y's rather than to boost up the X's. However, it's unrealistic to think that you will be able to eliminate each and every Y. It just doesn't work that way. There will be some left and you will need another plan to eliminate the survivors. You can typically accomplish a lot of this by boosting your PH or by making your reproductive tract more acidic (as this state is not conducive to Y's.) This is typically accomplished by douching and a diet made up of high PH foods. You can use PH litmus strips to determine how well this is working.

So, we have to assume that if you work on your timing and your PH, you would have eliminated a good deal of the Y's, but some might remain. There is one more thing that you can do and that is using shallow penetration when you have intercourse. The reasoning behind this is that this gives all of the chromosomes long travels. The X's have a much easier time with this long trip, which is exactly what you want.

So as you can see, there are several ways to increase your odds of having a girl. But, you should make use of all of these methods to give yourself the highest odds. And, you should use tools like ovulation predictors and PH test strips to make sure that you are as accurate as you need to be.
