Is Onlywire A Reliable Social Bookmarking Service?

It's called Onlywire, and its social bookmarking service is becoming increasingly popular with people who need to make themselves heard over the internet. And that is no wonder, since in this day and age social bookmarking has become a must. But let's take a step back and clear things out.
What exactly is social bookmarking?
Well, suppose you've just written an excellent article on your blog and need to spread the word about it. In that case, social bookmarking is the way to go, namely submitting your post to a multitude of social networks. This will put your blog on the map and make your articles go viral!
By now you've perhaps noticed that your blog posts can be submitted to social networks like Facebook, Twitter and so forth, but doing so manually every time you post something is a time consuming task, and we all know how important time is, especially to us internet marketers. You need to be as effective as possible.
Is Onlywire really useful for you?
So why is Onlywire an alternative? Simply because your content will get social bookmarks on up to 42 websites in just a couple of minutes, that's significantly less than it would take you to do so manually. It is also a very easy to use tool. And it includes all the important websites you can think of: Delicious, Digg, Facebook, Mixx, MySpace, Reddit, StumbleUpon, Twitter, and then some! The first time you sign up you will have to create accounts with all the social bookmarking services available but that is definitely worth the effort as you will submit to them over and over and over again.
So, on to the technical part: you need to install the OnlyWIre Plugin for WordPress and to download and install the Onlywire Submitter client which will go on your taskbar.
This will add the Onlywire Button at the bottom of your blog posts and clicking on it will automatically fill in your article name and URL into a form where you only have to add some relevant tags and a short description and then press "Post Bookmark". You will still have to one more thing and that is to right click the Onlywire icon on the taskbar and choose "Check for Work".
This is all you have to do!
On the downside, some of the submission will fail but you will definitely get over 30 bookmarks at the click of a button which is great.
The Onlywire client comes in two versions: the free one and the paid one. The free version allows you to bookmark 300 times (each time you send a post to a site is counted) and the paid version starts with 10$ for 1000 posts per month. 1000 submissions a month should be just fine if you blog a few times a week. But if you only write from time to time then the free version is perfect for you!
I know some people are not satisfied with the success rate of the Onlywire service, but in my opinion if your every article gets 30 to 35 bookmarks, it is a good result for such little work. And that button at the end of your posts also allows people to share your content on any website they want!
As I said, I use Onlywire myself so I can personally certify to its effectiveness, it is a great way of spreading the word about yourself and your articles so I think you should give it a try!
