If you're working with a company whose specialty is fulfillment rather than courier services, you may even find that you don't have to pay extra for storage and that it is already included in the base price that you're paying for the services that the company is offering you.

The availability of short term storage can at times pose a slight challenge. The reason for this is that these are usually smaller companies with limited space. If they had unlimited storage resources they would probably offer a longer term storage solution. So, the best way to guarantee that you're going to get the storage that you need is to book it with the company well in advance. This isn't always possible depending on your shipping situation. Good shipping advice though would be to always book your storage space as soon as you realize that you require it. That way you avoid getting into a situation where you require storage but your courier company has none available, something which can surely be very frustrating.
