Is The Browser Rpg Right For You? The Answer Is Yes!

Technology sure has come a heck of a long way since I was a kid

. Thinking back on it, the first video game I ever played I am pretty sure was Pitfall on the ColecoVision. I home some of you still remember that goofy vertically-rectangular controller, with the numerical pad and the knob at the top. And with the coiled up cord, it pretty much looked like a telephone receiver. Oh, and when I got my first Game Boy, holy crap that was the best day ever. I could play Mario" anywhere?! ZOMG, let"s be honest here, who doesn"t like to having the option to game anywhere, anytime?!

Well, in the last 20 years or so, the browser video game, including the Browser RPG, has progressed like wildfire and has created a whole industry itself. What"s so alluring you ask? First off, portability. With the technology these days, cellphones, ipads, laptops and pretty much a computer wherever you go, you can access your game anywhere you have an internet connection. And to be honest, with entire cities going WiFi, it"s not that hard to find one.

Secondly, most can be played with other players. Growing up, video games were more fun with friends, browser games are no exception. Take the Browser RPG for example; most require you to party with other players. I know I like to play with my friends, but with my schedule, sometimes I can"t. So while they work, we do some PvP and what-have-you. I know, terrible

In the end, if you were thinking a Browser RPG, or any browser game for that matter, wasn"t the thing for you, think again. If you like having fun with friends, taking a break from a hard work day, or need a study time-out, they are definitely the release you need!
