Sometimes you are dating a guy who doesn't seem to want to commit
. You have been with him and talked with him but nothing changes at all. While you might want this in your relationship, you do need to realize the reasons why your guy might not want to commit yet. Find out what these are so you can understand the situation a little better.
He might not be ready for that type of commitment yet. He might still want to be young, do what he wants, or might not feel he is emotionally mature enough for something more serious. If he isn't ready, all the reasoning and pushing in the world isn't going to change his mind.
He might not feel that he can give you what you want. He might feel he can't earn enough to support the lifestyle that you want to live with him or the children you want to have. He might also not feel that he can love you the way that you need to be loved yet.
Some guys like keeping their options open. This doesn't mean that he doesn't like you. It means that he is looking to see what women he might become close to in life. This is a time that he is not thinking about a serious relationship.
He might want to be more successful in his career and finances before committing to someone on a more serious level. He might be working very hard right now so that later he can relax more as he becomes a husband and a father.
He might sense potential problems in the relationship. There might be fighting or other drama that he is not enjoying too much.
In the past, he could have been hurt. He has gone down the road of a serious relationship and doesn't want to be in another disaster like that right now.
