Most contact lens user knows that you have to keep their hand clean before handling their lenses However Most user may also falls into the presumption that their hands is clean . Cleaning May seems to be a simple enough task for anyone but the action seems to be ignored frequently till something happen. In order to stress the importance of this action, always wash your hand even if it feels clean, make it a habit and dry them before you handle your contact lenses. You may have been driving to the mall, office, pick up your kids from school etc. and because of this journey you hand may simply pickup dirt , dust or even germs from this short trips thus by always assuming that your hand is not clean enough will keep your eyes remain safe and healthy without unnecessary risk of contacting foreign bodies that may affect the hygiene of your eyes

In addition to this, we would like to share a simple 4 steps checking of your contact lenses from any unwanted deposit before you place them in your eyes.

Te 4 simple steps is very simple and it is as follows :

firstly hold your contact lenses against a black back ground , in this way any foreign unwanted deposit will be able to be seen by you more clearly and removed

The removal of the deposit can be simple by pouring a fill drop of saline solution to the inside of the lens .

BY using your index finger, give your lens a gentle wipe for about 4 -5 seconds with the lens on your palm

Rinse the lens again with a few more drops of the saline solution.

By doing this simple action, you will find that your lens will feel more comfortable to wear.

Never reuse a damage lens even if the lens has a small tear, feels irritated even after cleaning or have deposit especially after you have worn them for long hours. In this case it will be best to throw them away and start with a fresh new pair.

The risk associated with dirty lens or damage lens are not worth the cost of saving compare to your precious healthy eyes.
