If you should meet them in the same dinner you chose to eat at, don't be afraid to go and say hi, but keep it short and sweet and like always keep it positive, no digs and move on with your evening. You may consider calling them after a few weeks and letting them know you miss them and say you have been busy and you have to go.
Should they call and tell you that they want to talk, then keep your distance, don't allow them to touch you but a good bye hug would be excellent.
