The band is made of durable, polished stainless steel, and has a sturdy deployment buckle clasp. The dial itself is protected by a high-end, sapphire coated, scrape resistant covering (lesser quality watches use a cheap mineral coating). Accurate time is guaranteed with the precision Swiss movement mechanism. Plus, this watch actually needs no battery- it automatically powers itself with the movements of your arm.
