Ladies, we already know that we are a far superior species than
menjust kidding, we need each other. We all understand that men are
mainly left brain controlled and women are right brained controlled,
logic vs. emotion. Now that we understand that we're different. Now
how to get along and exist in healthy relationships, that's the
question.
If you want to find the way into your man's heart, give him true
respect. Don't worry; this is not a discussion on the subservience of
women and their place in society. All human beings deserve real
respect, but some men crave it more. They need to know that their
woman honors them and knows that they are the man in the
relalationship. Granted, not all men act in a very respectful way,
but hopefully, the man you're with is one of the great ones.
Men need to know that their woman trusts that he can provide for her.
Did you ever notice a guy who was recently laid off work, especially
in this economy; it's not out of the ordinary for that man to not feel
good about himself. He's down and out and feels less of a man for not
being able to provide. A man gets his identity from his work and his
daily grind, while a woman gets her identity from her home and family
and friends. That's why most women do the cleaning, even if they
don't want to clean, they want to make a home. Making a house a home
is part of who she is as a person.
Men need to know that they have the freedom to come and go as they
please, without having to answer to a nagging woman that always
bothering them about this and that. I know, this theory does not give
men the right to never be home or always hang out with the guys and
never spend time with you. However, when a woman does not nag her
man, he's more likely to want to spend time with her, rather than his
friends. It's all about giving him the freedom to choose and most
likely he'll choose you and your company.
Ranking high up there with the need for respect is the need for sexual
relations. Believe it or not, a man thinks he is expressing his love
to his woman when they make love. A woman on the other hand, needs
her man to listen to her and take the time to cuddle so she feels
cherished and important. Men and women must understand these
different needs in order to communicate and better meet each other's
needs. Ladies, I know that sometimes that headache comes on and you
just don't feel like it, but remember that it's how he shows he loves
you. If you're not available time and time again, he may start to
stray because sexual relations are a real physical and emotional need
for him too.
When your man sees that you respect him, he'll reciprocate with the
love that is most important to you. When he sees that you encourage
him that he's doing great at his job, he'll be more apt to listen to
you like you need him to. When he sees that you are receptive to his
physical needs, he'll embrace your need wholeheartedly for that
emotional connection. It's a two way street, but in the end, when men
and women learn to get along in a relationship everyone is happier.
