Issues In Wireless Network Windows 7
Wireless connectivity in Windows 7 is very simple and intuitive
. However, there are many times you could run into issues with this connectivity. At such times it can get very frustrating, but knowing some simple tips you can solve the Problems in wireless network windows 7 easily.
What one needs to remember is that the domestic wireless networks are designed to be highly auto configurable and hence chances of failures are very limited. As a result, if you are running into problems the chances are something basic is not in place.
Networks not displayed
This is something that can happen to even a laptop that was connected to wireless network earlier. Everything seems to be working fine and suddenly you find that your connectivity is lost. When you try to connect you do not see any networks listed. This can mean only one thing that your wireless system is disabled.
It could be powered of by accidentally pressing the switch or by software. If it is switch off, you can switch it on manually. If it was disabled by software, just right click on the network icon and click enable. Whatever disabled the wireless system will enable it now and you should get back regular connectivity.
Signal Strength is weak
Poor signal is something that is very common for many laptop users. It can be very frustrating to know that you want to watch some video online and the weak signal means that your browser is just buffering all the time. The reason is that the wireless signals are weak in the place you are sitting. Move to a different location and you should get a better signal. So in this case it is just relocating to a different corner in the house.
Low Connection Speed
This is a problem that is not very easy to detect but can have some impact on your internet experience. Interestingly when this happens, your signal strength need not go down at all. You see all the five bars green, but you only get 24 MBPS connection. If you want to check your connection speed, right click on the connected network and select properties. This is in fact a feature of Wi-Fi and not an issue. The simplest solution to this problem is patience. Just wait long enough and the speed will recover.
You can always try a Signal repair on the wireless signal to restore it back to 54 MBPS. This may work well sometimes. Other times it could be that the source of interference is still present and the speed comes down immediately after the repair. Inn such cases, just wait it out and the problem will solve itself.
