It's Annoying To See How Well The First Class Passengers Get Treated
I say it now and may one day repent on this promise
, but I never want to fly first classapart from being incredibly expensive, entirely unnecessarily expensive, it is an assortment of one's social class that I find disturb. But more than that, I just don't want to be one of those people being served warmed croissants on bone china, giving a knife a fork, while the rest of us slobs in the economy seats in the back are given a bag of salty pretzels.
I'm not jealous. OK, I'm a little jealous but it's really annoying to see how better first class passengers get treated. Whether its
flights from San Diego to Seattle or
flights from San Diego to Denver, the first class passengers seem to be permitted to get on the plane first, and always leave the flights first.
Yes, I understand that people wouldn't pay for first class and business class if they were not entitled to slightly better treatment, and that perhaps their expense subsidizes my ticket cost, but it still makes me feel bad. The curtain that separates the first class passengers is in insane idea. It's like saying that there is something miraculous and behind the scenes that is happening in the first class or even premium economy class of seats that I should be seriously jealous and envious of. But of course, the curtain often parts and then you see how well they are being treated.
The cabin crew even seem to be nice to first class crew members. The rest us, and don't forget we did pay for and book these
flights from Dayton to Fort Lauderdale ourselves, are entitled to just as good treatment, no matter how much we were able to spend on the flight. Especially when since we are customers too.
