It's Not Difficult To Learn German
Learning German can actually be quite simple
Learning German can actually be quite simple. Understanding those verb conjugations is not really that hard, and since the language relies heavily on phonetics, spelling those seemingly impossible words isn't such a challenge either. What's important though, is for you to have your basics in place.
Understand most German verbs are actually rather uncomplicated. The good thing is that the verb conjugations have a tendency to stick to previously established patterns. This simply means that while the 'root' word continues to stay the same, the ending around it changes in accordance to the usage.
How well or how easily you learn the language depend on how you manage to find and use these patterns during the learning phase. Know that if you've got the conjugation of verbs covered, you've covered a great deal.
There is the fact that various German words are already commonplace, and many others bear striking resemblances to words that are used in other languages (including English). So, instead of having to learn scores of new words, you might actually be surprised to come across various words that you already know the meanings of.
In case you're wondering, all of these are actually German words. Msli is nothing but Muesli (the breakfast cereal); a wiener refers to a hotdog; a rucksack in English is commonly referred to as a backpack; and wanderlust refers to one's yearning to travel. Even though these words are German, their meanings are commonly understood.
Understand that using a new language to describe seemingly same situations in English does complicate matters to a large extent; especially for someone who's just learning. However, while studying German this isn't as much of a problem. As mentioned before, the German
language manages to build on words usually leaving the root to remain the same.
In case you're still feeling a little apprehensive about learning German, know that, instead of the typically long English sentence, the German
language would actually encourage you to be more concise in your communication. So, once you've learned the more important phrases, you should find yourself good to go.
