Iucn Cautions The State Against Poaching Of The Lions

While changing the Asiatic Lions from the critically endangered species the category

Y V Jhala, head of department Animal Ecology and the Conservation Biology said, Managements efforts towards conservation of species are planned with intention to the reduce threat perception towards. Dr H S Singh, additional principal chief conservator of the forest says, The Asiatic Lion as a whole is the listed in the vulnerable category. But it is good news for state as Asiatic lion was not listed as endangered species.
