JUPITER JACK - A Hands Free Cell Phone Alternative For Your Car

I don't know about you, but I'm tired of watching people nearly getting in wrecks and not paying attention when they're driving. The biggest reason for this is people making cell phone calls while driving. I've decided that I will not talk on my cell phone while I'm in the car anymore. It's just too dangerous. But, I'm busy and I often do need to talk when I drive, so I knew I'd have to find something to help. I found the Jupiter Jack handsfree cell phone device.

So, I had been looking around for an alternative to holding my cell phone up to my ear. I needed something I could use hands free if I must use my cell phone while I'm driving. I bought a Jupiter Jack, which is a cell phone accessory for your car that turns your car radio into a wireless speaker system. I like it. It's small, so it's not hard to carry in my bag. I just plug it into the headset jack on my phone, then mount the phone on a dashboard holder. When I tune my radio to 99.3FM or 101.3FM, the receiver in the Jupiter Jack device broadcasts the call from my cell phone through the radio, allowing me to hear my caller through the speakers in the car.

Jupiter Jack comes with 6 different adapters, so I even found one that fit my older phone. I found it was easiest to use when I made a radio preset for the station (99.3 or 101.3) that made my calls sound the clearest. So, when my phone rings, I just hit the preset button, then answer the call. Easy as that!

Pros and Cons:

Pro: Safety: I don't have to hold my cell phone up to my ear while driving. It's such a relief.

Con: Interference: Sometimes there is a little static over the speakers. But it's not enough to keep me from using it effectively.

Pro: Cost effective: Much less expensive than getting a Bluetooth cell phone hands free device.

Con: Privacy: If you have other people in the car, they can hear your conversation. Not a big deal.

I really like that it works so easily, and it also works with my husband's smart phone. It pretty much solves my problem, as seen on TV.
