Jeffrey Combs Advises Network Marketers

I was fortunate enough to attend an Internet Marketing event last weekend

. The event had some of the top internet marketing gurus in our profession, however, there were only 20 people in attendance!

Jeffrey Combs was one of the speakers and is a 7-figure earner in the business coaching arena. Jeffrey specializes in network marketers, and I have to say, personally being a client of Jeffrey has given me a defining moment in my life! I would honestly say, that I would not be where I am today, mentally, emotionally and professionally had I not been introduced to Jeffrey.

Jeffrey shared a couple of key nuggets of information at this event. He has a profound skill at identifying why we really procrastinate as entrepreneurs. We trick ourselves into thinking it's because of a lack of time or because we have a full-time job. Our procrastination simply comes from emotional barriers that we carry with us. These barriers were created by past events in our lives. For example, when a father tells his young son that 'you'll never amount to anything,' that creates a subconscious emotional barrier in that young boy that he'll carry with him forever. When we avoid, or procrastinate, on calling prospects or following up, it isn't necessarily because we hear our father's words, it is a subconscious belief that we won't amount to anything so why bother? Something else comes up to do.

We also learned from Jeffrey the importance of remaining results oriented with all daily tasks. As we set out to perform an activity, we should have an ultimate goal in mind. How long will we perform the task? What are our expectations of the task and how many leads are we looking to generate. Without have something to measure there is no way to know if the task was successful or not.
