Jimmy Buffet Tickets- Big Artist With A Big Heart

The music legend, famous for his song "Margaritaville" and many other successful

songs; Jimmy Buffett flew the late Tuesday to earthquake-stricken Haiti, taking in his airplane hundreds of tents for some of the millions of homeless Haitians.

Jimmy Buffet has a special love for Haitian music and he has his room named at the famed Hotel Oloffson. Jimmy made his first visit to Haiti since 1994 because of the needs of so many after the magnitude-7 quake struck on Jan. 12. He said "Haiti's something worth saving to me," and as he witnessed the incredible devastation in Haitian capital he told Associated Press "It's like it was bombed,"

Making a brief journey back in his life, will show us where Jimmy is inspired to have a big heart to help and an artistic soul to create and give the best.

Buffett spent a part of his childhood in Mobile, Alabama. He attended St. Ignatius School. Buffett later lived in Fairhope, Alabama. In 1964, He graduated from high school from McGill Institute for Boys (now McGill-Toolen Catholic High School). He started playing guitar during his college years at Pearl River Community College, Auburn University and The University of Southern Mississippi in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, where he inward a bachelor's degree in history in 1969. At the University of Southern Mississippi, Jimmy was initiated into the fraternity Kappa Sigma . Then after he's graduated from college, he worked as a correspondent for Billboard magazine in Nashville, breaking the news of the separation of Flatt and Scruggs.

Buffet is 64, and means that many of his fans are from his generation, but this does not mean that Buffet does not have young fans; instead his music has attracted the attention of young listeners as well. Jimmy proved that his music goes beyond the generational barriers and appreciated time by both old and young.

Recently, Jimmy Buffett performed with the Coral Reefer Band at the Amway Arena in Orlando FL on Thursday night as part of the Summerzcool Tour. Jimmy hasn't performed in Orlando since Feb 8th 2007 at the same venue. For a marathon of 2 hour set, Buffett played and included all his greatest hits like Margaritaville, Fins, Come Monday, One Particular Harbor, and Cheeseburger in Paradise and other new songs.

One of the devoted fans said "Buffett last performed in Columbia in 2005... but hopefully we won't have to wait five more years to see him again." he added "Otherwise, I'm going to have to give up the real world and become a full-time traveling Parrothead."

In the March 19th, Buffett will share the stage with this year's Grammy winner for "Best New Artist," the Zac Brown Band, as they team up for the most recent episode of the critically-acclaimed CMT CROSSROADS series.

Stripped before an invitation only audience, Jimmy Buffett and Zac Brown Band bring their tropical tastes and rousing performances to each other's hit songs such as Jimmy Buffett's "Margaritaville" and "Son of a Sailor" and Zac Brown Band's "Chicken Fried" and "Toes."
