John Wall better than...LeBron?

Not only did Wall record the triple-double, he also added another six steals, missing a quadruple-double by only four steals. Quite impressive! On top of that, it was only his sixth game as a pro!

Now the triple-double is something that LeBron is certainly familiar with as he recorded his first of the year and 29th of his career. So, I am not taking anything away from James, of course, but Wall recorded his first in just his sixth game and on a much worse team. Now, LeBron has played on some pretty bad teams himself, but Wall may be on one of the worst in the NBA.

Recording his first triple-double in just his sixth game puts him in the company with Hall-of-Famer's such as Oscar Robertson and Magic Johnson. Now, LeBron will find himself in the same company as the gentleman who I just mentioned but no where near as quick.

While I am not saying Wall is better than LeBron right NOW, the possibility of him exceeding James in the future is there. James has often been declared the "King" and the "chosen one" but what if this kid (Wall) can prove that he has more skillz than LeBron?

Wall clearly has more defensive skills than most assumed he possessed coming out of college and after recording 19 steals in his first six games, I think people can safely admit that they may have not realized the skill this former Wildcat has.

He is quick, smart, savvy, unique, and seems to have a good head on his shoulders. The latter being something that LeBron himself could probably take a lesson from.

After being drafted by the Wizards, I think many NBA fans assumed that this would be an ugly relationship. Most probably assumed that he may demand a trade or not sign a contract, but he has done the opposite. He has contributed at a very high level, and while the Wizards have a ways to go, he is keeping them competitive and interesting.
