, even celebrities it would seem. A few weeks ago it was pop singer Leona Lewis who was snapped by cameramen enjoying a horse riding session in the Scottish countryside.

The Bleeding Love star was taking a break from her concert schedule to enjoy a bit of fresh air and exercise with friends. Apparently, according to a close friend, she loves to get into the saddle as often as possible and was recently spotted enjoying a ride in Los Angeles and Malibu. Leona is one of many thousands of people in the UK who enjoy going out riding. It is a fantastic form of exercise and can be a real pleasure, especially if you get a lovely day for it.

One thing you must always remember before going horse riding is safety however. As much fun as the sport can be, it is also potentially dangerous and you have simply got to take certain steps to protect yourself while on a horse, such as wearing a safety helmet. Leona Lewis fell of her horse earlier in the year but managed to avoid serious injury.
