Jon Gosselin Rumored To Consider Liposuction
Jon Gosselin, a reality TV star, has supposedly launched a new plan to undergo liposuction
. Men and liposuction are often not put together but as the industry booms, so does its popularity among both genders.
As of September, 2009, rumors started swirling about the famous and recently divorced Jon Gosselin and his plans to undergo a lipoplastic procedure. Many sources tie this newfound interest in cosmetic surgery to Jon's very recent divorce from his fellow reality TV star, Kate Gosselin. The two have been exchanging tabloid articles since earlier this year; however, this news certainly took the industry by surprise.
Jon supposedly wants to look good to get the type of girl he wants and is therefore hunting down various surgeons in the Las Vegas area. Jon has decided to eradicate somewhere between twenty and thirty pounds in order to look his best.
Jon, who was recently just a working dad on his family's reality TV series, obviously has put on some weight over the years of taking care of his eight children, six of the sextuplets and trying to create a support system for that. Like any other working dad, Jon probably didn't consider his appearance a problem until he found himself newly single again after several reports of infidelity came to light.
In this day and age where everyone wants to look their best, men have started to lean more towards liposuction than they have in the past. Health living and a careful diet sometimes does not remove a stubborn pocket or a few pockets of fat. Lipectomy is a procedure that helps take care of those few stubborn spots. However, the procedure is not designed to serve as a weight-loss cure-all. Most ideal candidates for surgery have kept a stable weight for at least six months, have realistic expectations and are within at least a few pounds of their ideal body weight.
For men, cosmetic procedures are more about toning their muscles rather than just removing lots of fat. Men and women have different physiques and as such different expectations. One expectation is always the same: people want to look better.
Liposuction, as useful as it is, is not meant to remove all fat from one's body. Hopefully Jon remembers that as he attempts to make himself attractive to more women. Surgery should never be used as a substitute for healthy living and definitely ought to be a last attempt. That being said, Jon Gosselin will probably go over all of these facts and more if he decides to visit with one of those doctors in Las Vegas. It's always a good idea to visit with your doctor before making any major decisions on the pros and cons of surgical weight loss methods.
A healthy diet and exercise will also aid Jon in keeping up any work he has done. Without a good and stable lifestyle, it's hard to keep a body in shape.
