Modules are used to display the contents around the main content page of the website. In website design content page is very important. Web design using Joomla displaying content section is done with the separate modules. Joomla modules are more flexible and lightweight extension. So this is very important to web design. All Joomla websites are contains at least one menu module. Other modules are optional such as news, banner, Latest news, Polls. Some modules are linked to component in Joomla. Website developing using Joomla, each menu module is related to one menu component. When you create new module in Joomla, you must select the module type. This is used to determine the type of content display in this module. In Joomla administrator side, create a new menu, this is related to menu component. We cannot change the module type of the existing module in Joomla. If you want to edit the existing module in Joomla, can't change the existing module type. In Joomla each module has the two sections in administrator section. They are details of the module and menu assignment of the module. But parameters of the module are differing from each module.

Module type is display the system name of the module. Module title is display title of the module. We can show and hide the title of the module. If the module is doesn't need your website can disable the module in Joomla during design a website. Joomla is most power full content management in web design because modules are easy to install and use. In web design some sections are important that means header, navigation, content display section, footer section and menu. This is done with Joomla that means all the sections are converted into the modules. For example menu in the website is display from the menu module. In Joomla each separate section are called modules. This is used to easily manage when website design. In Joomla we can change the position of the module. Using the position drop down menu in Joomla administrator can change the displaying position of the module.

Web design using Joomla, modules are displays the separate order. This is done with the order of the displaying modules. Order of the module is displayed within the position. If more than one module is displayed in the same position in web developing using Joomla, this will determine the order of the displaying module. Three type of access level in Joomla module, they are public, registered and special. Public access level is access everyone. And registered access level is only registered users have access. And special is only access higher access level. ID of the module is unique identification number. This is assigned automatically by the Joomla. This is used to identify the item internally. Finally description is what the module does.

Including modules in Joomla is very useful feature to design a website using Joomla. Using Joomla can built powerful websites and web applications. Using Joomla can do the corporate website, portals and e-commerce.
