Jumbo Plush Toys

One of the greatest joys a child has growing up is that they are usually surrounded

by all kinds of wonderful plush toys teddy bears, dogs, cats, horses, to name a few. When those plush animals are jumbo toys, it makes it all the more fantastic to be a kid.

There is something to be said for childhood: not a care in the world and completely oblivious to all of the drama happening around you. It's no wonder adults wish for those days more often than not. Everyone has a best friend when they're a kid, maybe even two or three. But, there is no greater friend to a child than that special jumbo toy that has likely been with them from the time they can remember. To some, jumbo toys may seem like just a bunch of material that has been all sewn together to form an animal of one kind or another. Children, however, know that jumbo toys are much more than that. They are the best friend they can turn to in times of triumph and disaster, for comfort in times of sadness, and join them in adventures great and small - real and imagined. Sometimes, the same thing cannot always be said about human friends.

For children that long to have a pet but for one reason or another, will never see that wish granted, jumbo toys may not be alive and breathing, but with a little imagination, that could all change in a heartbeat. It's amazing to think what one child can dream up and then add to that a little extra incentive from a jumbo toy, and the possibilities become simply endless.

Choosing just the right jumbo toy to fulfil the position of a best friend, is a highly personal occupation. It's not something that can be rushed into, after all, this could be a friend for life. Like with any soft toy, what makes them the most interesting is their overall character and even their history if they are coming from somewhere other than a store shelf. Full of character and charm, jumbo toys provide that ever-lasting link to childhood and perhaps, simpler times. They are fabulous companions and each and every one has its own distinct personality, especially the 'old' ones whose characters have undoubtedly been developed by the life they have led. One thing is certain, having made the decision to have jumbo toys in one's life, few are ever able to give up their new-found friends.

Sometimes the most desirable jumbo toys are the ones that are a little rag-tag and just a smidge rough around the edges. After all, if you love one plush toy, you love them all, no matter their shape, size, age, or pedigree.
