This week we talk about applications! Everyone loves the applications and they are one of the biggest draws on the Android platform. Android Market is growing leaps and bounds, and I for one am loving it. But this is not the whole internet full of stuff off the market, and we will explore it.
The market is great. Use your phone, find the application and install it with one click. (Hope this is not patented!) But what about the people that live in countries not supported by the Android Market? Or devices that do not support the Market? Or the simple fact that a number of great things is simply not on the market? Get ready to open a new tab in the browser and lets go for a spin!
Before we start, we need to make sure our phones are set up to find and install applications that are downloaded from other places. The inclusion of non-application is very simple. Lets do it now.
