After having a really long week, I was able to put the flying ant/termite damage

to my house and a/c repair bills from this past week in the back of my head over the weekend and hang out by the pool with some friends.

A close friend of mine was telling me that one of her co-workers had an altercation with another co-worker of theirs. She pulled into the parking lot at her work and was sitting in the car for a moment thumbing through her purse when all of a sudden, a man who works in her building opened up her car door and said some things that I simply cannot repeat here! He basically tried to black mail her into performing a sexual favor!

Imagine being in her shoes. She could've very well been assaulted right there in her own car. She did not have anything on her or in her car that she could've used to defend herself. She now realizes she should be carrying something, and wanted a 775K Stun Master stun gun to keep in her purse at all times, a key chain pepper spray for her key ring, and a lipstick pepper spray to keep right on her desk. This was a very smart choice given that no one would ever know what it really was. It took her boss a few days before they let this slime ball go. They found out that she wasn't the only woman there that was being harassed. Unfortunately, things like this happen all the time, we simply don't always hear about them.

They just convicted a man of kidnapping and raping his ex-girlfriend and mother of his two children. He had held her and another family member at gunpoint, drugged them, and then raped her for sixteen hours. Luckily he was caught and will now spend the rest of his life in prison. None of these individuals I am telling you about today had expected something like this to happen to them when they got up that morning. No one ever does. If you do not have some type of personal protection device on or next to you at all times, make sure you take a few minutes out of your day to do this. Also make sure that your loved ones are protected as well. The few dollars you spend on a personal protection product to protect yourself or the lives of those you love which are priceless will be well spent should something ever happen.
