. Topshop is releasing its womenswear collection with young British designer, JW Anderson in Malaysia. The 28-year-old designer, whom Topshop has selected to collaborate with, is a rising talent in the British fashion scene. Many of you are still regretting missing out on that unique crocodile-print dress by the Christopher Kane for Topshop collection in 2009. However, that dress is not likely to make a come back onto shelves anytime soon. The pain of losing out on that will surely get you to ensure that you get your hands on the latest designer collaboration of Topshop the J.W. Anderson for Topshop collection.

The collection was launched to sell-out success during London Fashion Weekin London. Now, the collection is all set to finally make its way to Singapore. J.W. Anderson or Jonathan William Anderson, is known as one of the rising design talents of Britain. Although, the debut collection of the British designer was shown in 2008 at London Fashion Week, his first collection for women was launched in AW11, and that too came to fruition due to request from his fans and stockists. No need to say that he got an overwhelming response, and the rest is history. He recently showcased his SS13 collection at London Fashion Week. The celebrity fans included Daisy Lowe, Alexa Chung, Pixie Geldorf and many more. The offering spans outfits, footwear and stationery, which the London-based Irish-born designer says is 'a connecting link between craft and modernity'. He says that the collection is heavily induced by his own ready-to-wear label.

J.W. Anderson said that he is extremely excited to work with Topshop. He said that this collaboration gives him the opportunity for reaching a much wider audience with his designs, because he always wanted that his collections are made accessible to everyone interested in fashion and design. The JW Anderson and Topshop collection includes clothing, which ranges from knitwear to outerwear and jerseys to denim. The collection represents the signature style of Anderson with detail aesthetics that will remind you of schoolgirl chic meets punk, meets American high school preppy. Thus, it can be said that the pieces in the collection are classic, as well as, playful.

Andersons inspiration can be clearly observed in the collection, whereby prints such as turtles and zebras are repeated in denim pieces, and also, tartan appears in cropped tapered trousers. Moreover, there are also varsity jackets that are emblazoned with the JW logo. Rather than just clothing, the collection also offers stationery items including pencils, lollipops and toys (subject to availability in Malaysia).
