Lay it down on its full length and measure down three inches, breaking the chain at that spot with the use of pliers. The next step would be to pry open a necklace ring with your fingers and then try to push it through the necklace chain. As for the lace, slip it onto the necklace ring before carefully closing it. Do the same thing for the other piece of the broken necklace, measuring down seven inches.

Now, if you want to make a lace bracelet, what you need is again vintage lace. Measure the lace around your wrist to see how much of it you will need in order to make your lace bracelet. Remember to leave an extra couple of centimetres at either end to turn under. Cut the section of the lace that you want to use, making sure to snip away any odd threads. Sew a hook to one end of the lace, and an eye to the other end, which will serve as your lock.
