As more and more Kansas City residents opt to take advantage of this lightening-fast

internet service, the city's reputation is going to change for the better. People from all over the country will recognize that there is a lot more to this lovely community than just amazing barbeque, jazz, and the Wizard of Oz. A few years ago, Kansas City was investing a lot of money into magnet schools, which brought kids from all over the city together with great access to the best technologies available. These kids were getting some of the best educations in the country until funding dried up and many of the schools were forced to close. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem like that pattern is going to change any time soon due to the poor economy and low state tax revenues. Yet all of the kids who were attending those schools can still have access to some of the best technology in the world, and Kansas City can still develop a reputation as a modern city with great infrastructure. Instead of coming from government money being spent in schools, however, this kind of change will have to come from residents who opt to partake in the 4G internet revolution. While joining the rest of Kansas City on this high-speed internet highway will help everyone improve the city's image, staying on the periphery will only hurt the city's reputation as other communities across the country embrace this new technology.
