. Yes Bajaj, the big bike manufacturer is planning to launch Kawasaki Ninja 650R after recording the tremendous success of Ninja 250R. The bike is planned to be accompanied with KTM Duke in Indian markets. If plan take its shape, the launch will be an essential variant in 650 segment of Indian markets. Ninja 250R is about to complete its one year in India with a sale of 1000 units already registered. The intentions of the company to launch Ninja 650R was expressed by Mr. Rajiv Bajaj, MD Bajaj Auto during an interview. Ninja 650R is an amazing bike loaded with a 649cc engine for improved low-mid range rpm torque and linear power delivery. Kawasaki Ninja 650R is also accompanied with ABS in selected versions for a few countries. The looks of this bike is extremely aggressive and the designing simply gives it that edge to compete with other sports bike in market. One can also find interesting curves in its body to define its own style. The tank also has a wonderful curvy shape. Talking about 650cc segment of Indian market, Hyosung is about to launch its sporty GTX650R which will be the only competitor model for Kawasaki Ninja 650R. Hyosung GTX650R and the Kawasaki Ninja 650R looks too good on paper but the actual competition will come once their prices will be revealed in India. Talking about the major strength of Bajaj Auto, it can have a clear edge over Hyosung as it has far better service centre network across the country. Moreover, Hyosung might lag behind Bajaj because of its exit from Indian markets in 2000s. This has certainly altered its image in Indian markets. Talking about Kawasaki Ninja 650R, it is loaded with a Four-stroke, liquid-cooled, DOHC, four-valve per cylinder, parallel twin engine with a displacement of 649cc.
